Microprocessor system REM2015v2.0 management regular (control and measuring) systems (CMS) for statement of a track to design position by tamping machine

REMTECHSTROY Group – developer and manufacturer of control systems, offers industrial system for estimation, control over the process of tamping and leveling by axis and by level for tamping machines type Doumatic, Unimat, VPR and others..

This system has successfully been used by railway companies since 1999.

The system performs the following functions:

-        Estimates the position of the track according to plan and in profile, detects subsidence and deviations in straight and curved track sections;

-        Realizes project parameters of the track;

-        Provides comfortable track (without subsidence or deviations), complying the requirements for high-speed running of trains;

-        Provides the norms in axial and level deviations;

-        Measures the geometry of the track in working direction and in backward movement;

 

 

The system consists of industrial components – universal standard equipment, produced by leading world producers and is designed for operation of  railroad machines in conditions such as vibrations, shock pressure, high humidity and dust, electrical and radio interferences, power supply interruptions, environment temperature within the range of  -20º C to +70°С.

The system can work with or without pre-traveling measurement.  At working mode without pre-traveling measurement, at working mode after a ballast-distributing machine or insufficient time in a “railroad window” (smoothing mode) , the system allows the input of design parameters of the rail road by axis and according to plan and meeting requirements for exceeded level with different types of complexity and configuration.

The guaranteed high level of tamping and leveling of the rail road by axis and level, of railroad machines, equipped with this system, allows to preserve its stable position for a long time, to reduce considerably the side wearing of rails and sideboards of axes in the rolling stock and increase the speed of trains.  More than 60 trains of different types have been equipped with this system in Europe, Russia, and abroad.

The system includes:

-        Computer (industrial production) with integrated DAC/ADC devices, power supply unit with original software;

-        Industrial 15” monitor;

-        Industrial keyboard with a trackball.

The inputs of the system are connected to the following sensors of the railway machine:

-        Leveling (mixing bus on the mother bard (PCB) for leveling);

-        Longitudinal profile (left/ right);

-        Ticker;

-        Control ticker (if any);

-        Distance (measuring wheel).

Also, the system inputs signals from the basic rail about the direction of pressure in the measuring trolleys (carts).

The system outputs the following analogue signals:

-        Correction of leveling;

-        Correction of lifting the front end;

-        Correction of the level in the working zone;

-        Correction of the level in the front end (when necessary).

-        08-32 (Plasser, analogue control panels) – 1 pc. Bulgaria, 2006;

-        Unimat (Plasser, analogue control panels) – 1 pc. Belarus, 2009;

-        Dowmatic 09-32 (digital system compass-4) – 2 pcs., Russia, 2007-2008

We have also equipped more than 40 railway machines abroad (Belarus, Iraq, India, Mozambique, Mongolia, Libya, Pakistan, Ukraine).

 

Upon request, we can send you a presentation of the system, User manual REM2015v2.0, a copy of the Protocol of comparative trials with ALC system Plasser <on request>.

 

In trials the system measures the following parameters: longitudinal coordinates of the track, level deviation, deviation of the left and right side of the profile, value of the working ticker. The accuracy of measurement of these parameters depends only on the error of the sensors, affixed to the specific railway machine. The error is recorded in the sensor’s documentation and the transducers.

The output calculated information is recorded in digital and graphical mode, and is stored on the computer at every measurement trip.

 

In Example 1,2,3  folders are given parameters of reported files that are automatically generated after calculating of the track section.

 

Description of files:

Файл ST*_Report1 - The file contains all data calculated from the recorded railway section of the track.

Файл ST*_Report2 - Graphic presentation of the project (in red) and actual situation of the track by plan, by profile (versus the basic rail) and by level.

Файл ST*_Report3, Файл ST*_Report4 - Graphic presentation of additional calculations of the track section parameters

Файл ST*_Report5 - Graphic presentation of additional calculations of the track section parameters.

Файл ST*_Report6 - The file contains in digital mode only the natural data of the track section, obtained in the course of measurement trip.

         

In tamping mode, the system can only record the control level. To measure parameters of the track after the work of the tamping machine, it is necessary to do extra measurement trip.

 


The speed for the measurement trip is up to
20 km/h.

Upon request, the program itself and the visualized reported information can be translated besides English, Russian and Bulgarian, and another language by customer’s choice.
